Persbook is an artistic annual event to exhibit works of Iranian artists who live in Iran and abroad, founded in 2009 by curator artist Neda Darzi. Her first experience as curator was in cooperation with Alice Estepanian in “Nietzsche was a man”, a project in which video works of 19 Iranian artists were exhibited from 2013 to 2015 in  Sweden , (Malmö Konsthall),  Mexico (Museo Ex Teresa Arte Actual) and Finland (Pori Museum).
In her art works, Neda Darzi pays attention to the subjects of general concern, so she does in her curatorial works. Her main concern is to seek a free situation away from prejudice to introduce and exhibit the works of young talented artists of Iran, and this is what Persbook pursues as a priority. In past seven annuals of Persbook, which were on competition basis, many artists and int’l jury members were invited. Also, Persbook is one of the first artistic events that  has exhibited art works not only in galleries, but in public locations and cyberspace as well. In past eight years, Persbook has invited many Iranian and Int’l artists to exhibit their works on different subjects, most of which related to social, environmental and aesthetic issues in Iran.
