Mehdi Ahmadi was born on 7th of December, 1966 in Tehran.
His attitude toward painting formed in adolescence and this tendency caused him start to learn painting seriously in 1984 at the age of 18. He got accepted in Architecture in Iran University of Science and Technology in 1985, but he quitted after two years and attended Art University of Tehran to study graphic.
Beside university educations, he attended drawing and painting classes of Ahmad Vakili as well as classes of “Art History” and “practical experience of art movements” by Ruyin Pakbaz.
Mehdi Ahmadi held his first drawing and painting exhibition in 1993 and has participated in more than 50 domestic and international exhibitions since then.
He also started his acting career in 1989 with “In the Alleys of Love” directed by Khosrow Sinaee. This film achieved much success, and was shown on Cannes Festival. He has acted in 30 cinema movies to date.
